Into the Wild
I could only sit through the first third of this movie. I kept waiting for a rabid bear to come out of nowhere, rip the protagonist’s arms off and then slowly tear off hunks of his flesh. That would have been some catharsis after suffering through an hour of his pretentious twaddle.

Wow, I found it slow but beautiful and moving. If you had have made it to the end there was in fact an encounter with a bear. No arms were lost though.
